Minutes of October 18, 2007

Dave Ruotolo, called the meeting to order at 7:15 PM at the West Haven Little League Field House

Roll Call:

  •     Present: Milford National Lou Gehrig, East Haven, North Branford, Max Sinoway, West Haven American,
                      West Haven National, Orange Softball, West Haven American and West Haven National, Bethwood, Cheshire

  •     

  •       Absent: Annex, Branford, Milford International, Jackie Vets, Ron Bernardini, Pop Smith, Orange Baseball

    •

    Secretary’s Report – Motion to accept by Bill Hoffman, seconded by Shawn Murray, all in favor.

    Treasurer’s Report - Motion to accept by John Kaczor seconded by Ralph Streeto, all in favor.

    Old Business:

    New Business:

    Dave reminded all leagues to notify him when there is a new president.

  • Dave again advised leagues to insure their constitution and bylaws are current (within two years).


  • There are several boundary issues, Milford International and Milford National Lou Gehrig, Annex and East Haven and Annex and a proposed new league. Dave will schedule meetings in November after he returns from Williamsport.


  • All tournaments were discussed and overall there were no problems.

    The meeting was called to order at 8:35 PM by Dave Ruotolo, District Administrator at the West Haven Little League Field House
    Roll Call:

  •           Present:  Branford, Milford International, Milford National Lou Gehrig, Annex, East Haven, Ron Bernardini,
                               Jackie Vets, North Branford, Max Sinoway, West Haven American, West Haven National, BethWood,
                               Pop Smith, Orange, West Haven American and West Haven National

              Absent:  None

    New Business:

    Dave reminded all leagues to get their recommended all star umpires names to Tony and Denis.

    • Dave discussed the possibility of having 10-11 year old softball all star tournament. There was some interest from West Haven and East Shore.

    Dave advised site directors to get him the scores and innings played as soon as possible after the game is over.

    The all star schedules are now posted on the district website.

    Dave announced the dates for affidavit verifications.

    Post season schedules have been set and posted on the district website.
