CONNECTICUT LITTLE LEAGUE DISTRICT 4, INC.

Starting Monday, June 9, 2008, Connecticut District 4 Little League will start its Junior/Senior/Big League Softball Program.This program is designed for players that were not able to play prior to the completion of the high school season.

The age eligibility is 13-16 years for the junior/senior division and 14-18 years old for the big league division.

Double Header games  will be scheduled on the following Mondays, June 9, June 16, June 23, June 30 and the following Wednesdays, June 11, June 18, and June 25. All games will be played in West Haven or Orange.

The registration fee will be $75.00 made payable to Connecticut District 4. All fees must be paid prior to your selection to a team. This will cover the cost of officials, softballs and your uniform shirt.

The selection of tournament teams will be made from this group of players to compete in the post season tournaments. You must play in 75% of the scheduled games to be eligible for a tournament team. If you are selected to a tournament team there will be an additional charge for your uniform.

If selected you must be available and able to commit to the following tournament dates.

Junior Division Tournament Dates – 13/14 Year Olds
District - TBD June 29 – July 2, 2008
Section – Darien/Wilton, CT July 6 – July 14, 2008 (Week Nights Only)
State - Darien/Wilton, CT July 15 – July 17, 2008
Regional – Syracuse, NY August 1 – August 7, 2008
World Series – Kirkland, WA August 9 – August 17, 2008

Senior Division Tournament Dates – 14/16 Year Olds
District - TBD June 29 – July 2, 2008
State - Waterford, CT July 7 – July 17, 2008 (Week Nights Only)
Regional - Worcester, MA July 25 – July 31, 2008
World Series, Lower Sussex, DE August 3 – August 11, 2008

Big League Division Tournament Dates 14/18 Year Olds
Regional - West Haven, CT August 1 – 7, 2008
World Series - Kalamazoo, MI August 9 – 17, 2008
