Minutes of November 6, 2008
Dave Ruotolo called the meeting to order at 6:45 PM at the IL Forno Restaurant, Milford, CT.

Secretary’s Report – Motion to accept by Gary Donovan, seconded by Bill Rhone, all in favor.
Treasurer’s Report - Motion to accept by Paul Gusmano, seconded by Tony Vitti, all in favor.

New Business:
Dave asked the league if they were in favor
of having Al and Al in the district in 2009.There was a majority
of the league in favor 8-4. Dave will contact Al and Al.
Dave reminded all leagues to review their constitutions and make changes accordingly.
Dave informed leagues to check their status
with the State of Connecticut to insure
they are incorporated.
Dave let all the leagues know that there are required to file with the IRS for their league.
All post season tournaments were very successful and had few problems.
Next meeting will be Thursday, January 15, 2009.

Dave Ruotolo called the meeting to order at 8:25 PM at the West Haven Little League Field House.

Dave thanked everyone for coming and questioned why all leagues were not represented.
Constitutions to be submitted: East Shore and Milford International (Milford voting on tonight)
Dave advised we will be at 100% of constitutions submitted this year.
Dave asked all league who are participating in the 12/13-softball jamboree to let him know as soon as possible how many teams they will be submitting.
Dave reminded all leagues to follow Little League rules and regulations.
Dave asked all leagues to submit all star umpire recommendations to Denis as soon as possible.
The 9-10 and 11-12 softball brackets are complete.
Dave asked all league to get there post season teams to him as soon as possible.
Affidavit signing will be three nights this year.
Next meeting will be Thursday, June 19 at the West Haven Little League Field House.

Dave Ruotolo called the meeting to order at 8:05 PM at the West Haven Little League Field House.

Dave asked all leagues if it would be a problem awarding Bethwood Softball an equal amount ($350.00) toward a Michele Smith Softball Clinic. There were no objections.
Dave reminded all leagues that have not submitted their constitution that they must submit it by May 1, 2008.
Dave advised all softball league there would be a meeting at 7:00 PM on Thursday, May 15 to discuss the 12/13 jamboree.
Dave reviewed what all star divisions each league is going to participate in.
Dave reminded all league to let him know what post season tournaments they were going to enter and want to host. The dates of the post season tournament. Coach Pitch – July 5; Major Post Season – July 1; Farm Post Season – July 1.
Dave advised all leagues he would assign tournament games to all leagues that want them.
Next meeting will be Thursday, May 15 at the West Haven Little League Field House.

Dave Ruotolo called the meeting to order at 7:10 PM at the High Plains Community Center, Orange.

Treasurer’s Report - Motion to accept by Mike Krause, seconded by Ralph Streeto, all in favor.

A drawing was held with North Branford winning the summer camp scholarship in Bristol.
Dave reminded all leagues that have not submitted their
constitution that they must submit it by May 1, 2008.
Dave discussed the approval of the 12/13 softball
Jamboree to be held on June 13-15. A special meeting will be
held to
outline how the jamboree will be conducted.
Dave asked all league that have not submitted the number of teams and their field availability to contact Bill Hoffman with that information so he can do an interleague schedule.
Dave reviewed what all star divisions each league is going to participate in.

Minutes of February 21, 2008

Larry Stewart from the Bridgeport Bluefish made a presentation.
Mike Bruno from Elite Sports made a presentation.
Dave reported that all the leagues in the district have submitted their maps and that the district is again at 100% for ASAP Reports submission.
Dave advised all leagues that their constitution must be presented to him by June 1. Earlier is ok.
BethWood, Max Sinoway and Milford National Lou Gehrig have already submitted the constitution.
Dave reported that Hamden and West Haven been approved for one charter. Hamden will be known as Hamden Father’s Little League and West Haven will be known as West Haven Little League.
Dave reported on the Softball Town Hall meeting held Sunday, February 10. By all reports is was very successful.
Dave asked all league to let him know what divisions their league is going to enter all stars.
The Post Season Tournaments were discussed. Dave again asked each league to let him know by as soon as possible what tournaments their leagues are entering.
Seabreeze was discussed and it was decided that each team will play 5 game in pool play and all team advance to the playoff round.
